Retirement visa in brief
The main retirement visa is the Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV) Classic, run by the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA). Principal applicants must be 40 or older. A pensioner aged 50+ needs a lifetime pension of at least USD 800/month (USD 1,000 with dependents) and a USD 15,000 deposit. A non-pensioner aged 50+ needs a USD 30,000 deposit, and the 40–49 deposits are USD 25,000 (pensioner) and USD 50,000 (non-pensioner). Fees are a USD 1,500 application fee (plus USD 300 per dependent) and a USD 360 annual fee covering the principal and two dependents. The Smile and Human Touch categories were dropped in the September 2025 restructuring.
Visa rules and fees change. Confirm everything with the official immigration agency before planning around it.
