RetireAbroadCosts is a static information website. At this time:

• We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal information.
• We do not set cookies or run analytics or advertising scripts of our own. The one exception is embedded YouTube video, described below.
• Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operations.

Embedded YouTube videos. Some guides include a video hosted on YouTube, a service of Google LLC. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed (youtube-nocookie.com). The video does not load automatically: the page shows a placeholder, and your browser contacts Google only if you click it to play. At that point Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type. According to Google, the privacy-enhanced embed does not store information about visitors to our site unless they play the video; because you have to click to play, Google may then set cookies or similar identifiers and collect data about your viewing, under Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not control that data. If you prefer not to connect to YouTube, simply do not click play; because everything in the video is also in the text of the guide. Our videos use an AI-generated voice, which is stated in each video’s description and on its closing slide.

Changes. If we later add advertising (such as Google AdSense), analytics, affiliate links, or a newsletter, this policy will be updated first to explain what data is collected, which third parties receive it, how to opt out, and your rights under laws such as GDPR and CCPA, and a cookie consent notice will be added where required.

Links. Our pages link to third-party websites with their own privacy practices that we do not control.
